Jikkyou Pawafuru Pro Yakyuu: Basic-ban '98 is a side-series entry in the Pawapuro series based on Jikkyou Pawafuru Puroyakyu 3 for the Super Famicom. The roster is updated to be in line with the contemporaneous NPB season. Despite retaining every other mode from 3, it removes Success Mode.
